This End-User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“you” or “User”) and AiRost (“Licensor”, “we”, “us”), the sole owner of the RemoteDeck software and all associated applications for Windows, Android, and the web (collectively, the “Software”). By installing, accessing, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, Licensor grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software for your own lawful remote-access purposes. Free (non-subscribed) use may be subject to usage limits; a paid subscription (“Pro”) lifts those limits for the term you have paid for.
The Software is licensed, not sold. Licensor retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights. All rights reserved. No rights are granted to you other than the limited license expressly set out in this Agreement.
You may not, and may not permit others to: (a) copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Software; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law; (c) rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, or distribute the Software; (d) remove or alter any proprietary notices; or (e) use the Software to gain unauthorized access to any device or network, or in violation of any applicable law.
RemoteDeck is a tool for accessing and controlling computers and devices that you own or are expressly authorized to access. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have permission to access any device you connect to. Using the Software to access devices without authorization is strictly prohibited.
Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Subscription terms, pricing, and renewals are presented at the point of purchase and are handled through the applicable app store or payment provider.
Your use of the Software is also governed by the RemoteDeck Privacy Statement, which describes what data we process. Where the Software offers optional collection of client, device, and network data, that collection occurs only with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time in Settings.
The Software includes third-party open-source components licensed under their own terms (for example, FFmpeg under the LGPL). Those licenses continue to apply to those components and nothing in this Agreement limits your rights under them.
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. YOU USE THE SOFTWARE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LICENSOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE.
This Agreement is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach it. On termination you must stop using and delete all copies of the Software. Sections 2, 3, and 8–11 survive termination.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
